ELTA Application Procedure:

Here are the complete details to apply to English Language Teaching Assistant (ELTA) program.


Few facts to know about ELTA :

1. It is established in 2021 has been funded by the Ministry of Education.
2. The goal of the ELTA program is to recruit part-time quality English teaching assistants to provide a rich and diverse English learning environment for students in Taiwan’s public elementary and junior high schools.
3. The ultimate goal of this program is to offer Taiwanese students the opportunities to improve their English language skills and global awareness in an enriched and immersive environment by recruiting foreign ELTAs.

Who can apply : Any graduate student (Foreigners i.e other than Taiwanese).

What are the documents required : 




1. ARC,
2. Student ID card,
3. Work permit( get it from OIA),
4. Criminal record (get it from nearest police station. NSYSU students can get it from the city council police station),
5. Auto-biography (Just type 500 words about you while filling the form).

Steps to apply: 

1. Fill the application form when recruitment notification is out. Mostly, it will be a google form. After successful submission of the application, you will get a mail.


2. Interview invitation: A mail to schedule your preferable timings for interview will be seen.


3. Group interview reminder mail.


4. Thank you mail for attending interview.


5. Interview result.
