URLLC: ultra-reliable low latency communications

Short packet communication is used to support URLLC.
For a given coding rate,  errors can not be arbitrarily low because of the limited packet size.
Hence, error probability is bound for BL and coding rate.
BLER increases as BL decreases ==> latency increases.
BLER = no of erroneous blocks/ Total no of blocks.
OP  is good for relaying performances.
The achievable rate depends on BL and BLER.

Channel dispersion: Measuring stochastic variability of the channel as compared to a deterministic channel having equal capacity.
